Italian style breakfast

Posted in Touring, events, places and traditions on Jun 22, 2018

Usually Italians don’t eat much in the morning

Many do not eat anything at home and stop at a cafe on the way to work. Traditionally Italians stand at the counter and they have a coffee or a cappuccino and a pastry!!!.

Why do Italians prefer to have breakfast at a café?

First of all it is very cheap (2 euros) and quick (less than 5 minutes and you are done!!), also the bartenders are usually smiling, friendly and especially very fast: the Italians hate waiting. If people are regular customers they chat with the bartender and also with the other regulars, This creates a pleasant and cheerful atmosphere: the ideal way to start your working day!!!
